The Coldingham Gallery
High Street Coldingham Berwickshire Scotland
The Coldingham Gallery specialises in Chinese paintings, porcelain and decorative objects; modern Vietnamese art; and local paintings, prints and objets d'art from the Scottish border region.
The gallery is operated by Paul Harris, a writer and lecturer on art and modern history (http://www.worldoflectures.com/). He is the joint author, with Julian Halsby, of the standard reference work on Scottish painting, The Dictionary of Scottish Painters, which has continuously been in print in five editions since 1990.
The gallery situated in a particularly attractive borders village, is generally open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am-5pm and at other times by appointment (please see Contacts page). If you have a particular interest, it is a good idea to telephone ahead. The gallery is small and we have many items in storage.
Selected works for sale can be seen on this site. Full details of our Chinese art can be found at http://www.chineseartinscotland.co.uk/
We also have secondhand/antiquarian books for sale but only a selection are available for public viewing. A most important, almost complete, collection of books published by T N Foulis of Edinburgh 1904-25 is available, and details of this unique collection are at www.tnfoulis.com
